My Anrakyr the Traveller conversion.
The staff blade is made from a piece of gauss-tube sprue that i filed down until i could see my finger through it. It's only about a millimeter thick, which is quite the opposite of the original blade that was thicker than the sprue sprue it came on.
And yes I know the staff is crooked as hell. Blame GW and their finecast material for that.

I know that feel with finecast, but you can bend it straight before you glue, basepaint and paint the model. Just wash it with temperature between warm and hot and carefully band it straight. That's how I got my Overlord's scythe straight.
